In honor of such a momentous occasion, we are thrilled to share some insight into the flaky, buttery pastry known as: The Croissant. Croissants and other viennoiserie are made of a layered yeast-leavened dough. The dough is layered with butter, rolled and folded several times in succession, then rolled into a sheet, in a technique called laminating. The process results in a layered, flaky texture, similar to a puff pastry. We can only do the Croissant justice (by placing it on a pedestal of honor!) through our featured menu items at breakfast and lunch!
